I’ll be interested in your thoughts on this one. At the time of posting, the Rotten Tomatoes score (which I only ever check after I’ve written my reviews) is sitting at 52%… be interesting to see if and how that shifts over the next 48 hours as more UK reviews roll in. I have a feeling I’m going to be an outlier in how much I liked this and there’s a potentially interesting blog post around both the relevance of reviews and the question of who you trust. But we love what we love.
Oh, and it’ll be interesting to see how many reviews spoil the ending of Prisoner’s Daughter by naming the film I called out but refused to mention. Every story has already been told, folks. Some of them just land harder, that’s all.
